Spring Trivia Night 2026

This April, Standpoint hosted our annual Spring Event, bringing together supporters, advocates, and community partners during Sexual Assault Awareness Month to raise critical funds and deepen public understanding of the realities faced by survivors across Minnesota. The evening blended connection, education, and purpose—reminding us why this work matters and how powerful our community can be when we come together.

The event highlighted the strength and resilience of survivors while underscoring the ongoing need for accessible legal services, advocacy, and safety resources. Guests heard stories that reflected both the challenges and the courage of those navigating domestic and sexual violence. These moments grounded the evening in the heart of Standpoint’s mission: to promote justice for domestic and sexual violence victims.

Thanks to the generosity of attendees and donors, the Spring Event raised essential funds that directly support Standpoint’s statewide services. These contributions help ensure that survivors—whether they live in the Twin Cities or greater Minnesota—can access knowledgeable advocates and attorneys who understand the complexities of abuse, housing instability, immigration concerns, and the legal system.

The event also served as a reminder that Sexual Assault Awareness Month is more than a moment on the calendar. It is a call to action: to listen, to believe, and to stand with survivors. Throughout April, Standpoint shared resources, hosted conversations, and encouraged communities to learn more about how they can help create safer communities for all.

We extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone who attended, donated, volunteered, or helped spread awareness. Special thanks to our trivia host Colin Owens of Wild Chords DJ for providing a fun evening!  Your support strengthens Standpoint’s ability to meet survivors where they are and walk alongside them as they navigate some of the most difficult moments of their lives.

Together, we are building a Minnesota where every survivor is heard, supported, and empowered.
