October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month #DVAM. Please join us for our 12th annual celebration. The evening will include a hors d’oeuvres, a silent auction, speakers and performances, and the Journey of Hope awards ceremony.
This October as we recognize Domestic Violence Awareness Month, Governor Mark Dayton has designated Friday, October 12 as Stand with Standpoint Day to honor and acknowledge the importance of standing with survivors of domestic and sexual violence. Standpoint is honored to receive this proclamation as we recognize committed individuals working to prevent violence in our Minnesota communities.

Journey of Hope Awards
Each year Standpoint recognizes the passion and dedication of those who work to bring safety and justice to domestic and sexual violence victims/survivors. The work we do as change makers often goes overlooked. This award recognizes the courage and strength of these individuals and honors their on-going efforts to; provide advocacy and justice to domestic and sexual violence survivors; help build communities intolerant of domestic and sexual violence; and work to change people's lives for the better.
This is a chance for coworkers to celebrate each other and an opportunity for Standpoint to honor passion and dedication within the field. We are honored to announce the awardees for 2018:
Doreen L’Allier - 360 Communities - Advocacy
Referee Mary Madden - 4th Judicial District - Legal Services
Chief Jim Hughes - Sartell Police Department - Community Service
